Our October sales saw some great results for Ringwood Auctions' clients. From a large modern diamond single stone ring, certified E colour and in excess of 2 carats, sold for £7,000 plus premium to a vintage 1940s Rolex wristwatch that sold for £900 + commissions, jewellery and watches are still proving strong in the saleroom.
Our November sale now includes two heavy 9ct gold watch chains, a gold $10 coin, a group of sovereigns and half sovereigns and other jewellery. This is the perfect time of year to be buying jewellery for Christmas so head down to view the sale. Our sale on 30th July saw some sparkling prices for high end jewellery. Five pieces designed by renowned goldsmith and jeweller to the Queen, Andrew Grima, sold well. Including £2,200 including commission for a diamond set shell brooch and £1,800 including commission for an unsigned crystallized agate pendant.
The top price of the jewellery section, and indeed the sale, was just over £7,000 for a modern diamond necklace set with over 6 carats of brilliant cut diamonds.
